Leading Multigenerational Teams

February 18, 2026 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Today’s workplaces are more generationally diverse than ever, with teams often made up of Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z with Generation Alpha not far behind. Each group brings different values, communication styles, and expectations to the job. As a leader, your role is to bridge these differences and create a culture where everyone feels respected, understood, and able to contribute.

In this session, you’ll explore the unique experiences that shape each generation’s outlook at work. You’ll reflect on workplace values, uncover the root of generational conflict, and learn how to adapt your leadership approach. Through real-life examples and peer conversations, you’ll gain practical tools to support collaboration, reduce tension, and lead a stronger, more connected team.

In this course, you will:
  • Identify key experiences that shape each generation’s values, work habits, and communication preferences.
  • Reflect on your own generational perspective and how it affects the way you lead.
  • Learn practical strategies to reduce conflict and support collaboration across generational lines.

The course fee varies between $70 and $100 depending on the ticket type.

This course will take place on February 18, 2026, between 9 am – 10:30 am (PST, Vancouver).

“The Art of HR is such a well-put-together training. It allowed me to feel connected with a small, manageable group, who are experiencing similar challenges to myself. Engaged’s team of experts facilitated a coordinated solutions-based approach. I found them to be very knowledgeable in their specialist areas. The certificate has allowed me to advance my skills in HR and I know this will set me up for any future HR challenges in the pipeline!”

Pam Prewett  /  Victoria Brain Injury Society

“Participating in the Art of HR certificate program offered by Engaged has been an enlightening and rewarding experience for me, both professionally and personally. The value these workshops have brought to my role at VBIS is truly significant.

What stood out most in these programs was their interactive format. This wasn’t just about learning from the instructors; it was an immersive experience where I could engage with and learn from other participants as well. This dynamic environment not only enriched my learning experience but also fostered a sense of community and shared growth.”

Lauren Wakefield  /  Esquimalt MFRC

“Participating in The Art of HR certificate program has been an educational, motivating, and rewarding experience. Learning from experts in their fields about the main functions of HR, best practices, tips and tricks made this experience incomparable to other HR courses I have done. Each class broke down the concepts in digestible ways and could be for someone just starting out or as a refresher and update for existing HR professionals.”
