Subscribe to our newsletter to stay informed about all Art of HR program updates and announcements!

In which time zone are your courses offered?

Our team is based in British Columbia, Canada, and all course times are in Pacific Standard Time (PST, Vancouver).

How are the courses structured?

The duration of each course varies (60 minutes to 3 hours); you can find specific details on the individual course pages.

All sessions begin promptly at 9:00 am Pacific Standard Time (PST, Vancouver).

Courses are delivered live via Zoom, and full attendance is required to successfully complete each course. Sessions are not recorded for later viewing. Upon completion, you will receive a course completion certificate by email.

Each session is highly interactive with plenty of opportunities for participant engagement. Our instructors encourage participant collaboration through large group discussions and smaller breakout rooms. Participants are encouraged to have their audio and video enabled throughout the session to maximize interaction. We view each course as a chance to learn not only from the instructor but also from fellow participants.

Can I purchase a recording of the courses?

All of our courses are delivered live and are instructor-led. We do not offer recordings for purchase.

Purchases, Refunds, and Course Transfer

I registered for a course but can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?

Yes. Full refunds—minus the non-refundable Eventbrite processing fee—are available for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the course start date.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the course start time are not eligible for a refund.

Please note: If the 48-hour window falls on a weekend or holiday, we ask that you notify us by the preceding business day to allow time for processing.

How do I get a refund?

If you are eligible for a refund, you can initiate the process through the confirmation email you received from Eventbrite. The system will guide you through the necessary steps.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of a course start date will not be refunded.

If you are unable to complete the process, please contact us at learning@engagedhr.com and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Can I transfer my registration to a different course?

Yes! You may transfer your registration to another course. If the new course is of equal value, partial refunds are not available. If the course is of a higher value, you will be charged for the difference in price.

To request a transfer, please email us at learning@engagedhr.com.

Can I give my ticket to someone else if I can’t attend?

Yes, your registration is fully transferable at no additional cost. We kindly ask that you provide at least 4 business days’ notice to ensure the new participant receives all the necessary course information in advance.

Pam Prewett  /  Victoria Brain Injury Society

“Participating in the Art of HR certificate program offered by Engaged has been an enlightening and rewarding experience for me, both professionally and personally. The value these workshops have brought to my role at VBIS is truly significant.

What stood out most in these programs was their interactive format. This wasn’t just about learning from the instructors; it was an immersive experience where I could engage with and learn from other participants as well. This dynamic environment not only enriched my learning experience but also fostered a sense of community and shared growth.”

“Participating in The Art of HR certificate program has been an educational, motivating, and rewarding experience. Learning from experts in their fields about the main functions of HR, best practices, tips and tricks made this experience incomparable to other HR courses I have done. Each class broke down the concepts in digestible ways and could be for someone just starting out or as a refresher and update for existing HR professionals.”
