SUMMARY:Demystifying Employee Leaves
DESCRIPTION:Knowing how employee leaves work helps teams respond with clarity\, consistency\, and empathy. When people understand what types of leave exist and how they apply\, they can more confidently support both the employee and the organization. \n\nHaving a strong foundation in the different types of leaves\, legislation\, and entitlements reduces confusion and risk. Handling requests fairly and ensuring they are based on accurate information also builds trust between employees and managers. \n\nIn this course\, you will:\n\n 	Identify the most common types of leave\, including statutory\, company-provided\, and benefit-based.\n 	Explore where to find reliable information and legislation about leave entitlements.\n 	Practise how to respond clearly and consistently to leave requests using real-world examples.\n\nThe course fee varies between $70 and $100 depending on the ticket type. \n\nThis course will take place on February 26\, 2026\, between 9 am – 10:30 am (PST\, Vancouver).
