Navigating the sophisticated web of HR legislation is vital for an organization’s compliance and overall business success. Whether it’s recruitment and compensation or leave entitlements, our holistic course is your roadmap to understanding the legal complexities of human resources.

This session delves into labour laws, risk minimization, employment regulations, and compliance mandates that impact your HR practices. Enroll today to learn how compliance ensures a productive, harmonious work environment.

In this virtual workshop you will learn to:
  • Identify federal and provincial legal frameworks relevant to your organization;
  • Locate and explore resources to answer common legal HRM questions and issues;
  • Identify prohibited grounds for discrimination under Human Rights law and the connection to accommodation; and
  • Identify the rights and responsibilities of employers and employees when it comes to privacy law.

The course fee varies between $249 and $349 depending on the ticket type.

The next session will take place on November 5 and 7, 2024, between 9 am – 12 pm (PST, Vancouver).

The Art of HR Certificate

This certificate program encompasses the management knowledge and skill set necessary to manage employees through the entire employee experience. Completion of 4 core courses and 18 hours of elective courses entitles the participant to a Certificate in The Art of HR.
