Thriving in the Multigenerational Workplace

October 3

$60

When staff members range in age from their late teens to their late 70’s, building a cohesive team can seem like a daunting, if not impossible, task. But the fact remains that all workers – whether they are Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, or Gen Z – desire meaning and purpose in their jobs. Today’s leader must tap into how these desires differ across age groups, and then use that understanding to bridge the gap between the generations and tap into their valuable perspectives.

Through this 90-minute session, discover how to communicate more effectively across the generational divide and unlock the full potential of a diverse workforce. Explore how the different societal trends of our childhood translates into our current work values, strengths, and weaknesses. Learn how to navigate generational clashes and resolve conflicts in ways that leverages the unique strengths of each team member.

Learn to:
  • Analyze major trends that shape each generation in the workplace;
  • Examine generational communication styles and identify ways to address intergenerational conflict; and
  • Explore methods to improve recruitment, retention, and succession planning across generations.

The course fee varies between $60 and $85 depending on the ticket type.

The next session will take place on October 3, 2024, between 9 am – 10:30 am (PDT, Vancouver).
