The Power of Appreciation

November 14

$60

Everyone wants to feel valued at work.  Regardless of age, background, or job title, humans long for a sense of connection and the knowledge that their presence means something to the people around them.  For any leader in today’s workplace, there is immense power in being able to show individual team members that they matter and how the workplace is better because they are in it.

This 90-minute course will teach you effective ways to connect with your staff through the art of appreciation. You will learn how to detect the different preferences that employees have, beyond hearing the simple words of “thank you.”

Through this session, you will discover new ways to show gratitude on a sincere person-to-person basis, which in turn will benefit your whole organization with a greater sense of overall engagement and morale.

Learn to:
  • Distinguish between the separate actions of recognition versus appreciation;
  • Identify how personal barriers and blind spots can impede authentic appreciation; and
  • Understand how different approaches to appreciation enhance overall workplace culture.

The course fee varies between $60 and $85 depending on the ticket type.

The next session will take place on November 14, 2024, between 9 am – 10:30 am (PST, Vancouver).
