Managing Performance in Challenging Situations

Confidently managing performance and maneuvering tough situations is a requirement of strong leadership. Our specialized course is designed to equip you with the essential skills and techniques to motivate, mentor, and address performance concerns with confidence.

You will gain insights into performance assessment, constructive feedback delivery, conflict resolution and other core competencies that enable you to lead with professionalism and poise.

Elevate your leadership skills and excel at the art of navigating challenging workplace situations with this expert-led course.

In this virtual workshop you will learn to:
  • Recognize and overcome common barriers to effective performance management communication;
  • Describe behavioural attitudes that inhibit high performance in self or others;
  • Design a performance improvement plan; and
  • Describe how competencies in performance management assist career planning and succession and continuity planning.

Before taking this course we recommend taking Getting Started With Performance Management.

The course fee varies between $249 and $349 depending on the ticket type.

This course will take place on November 27 and 29, 2024, between 9 am – 12 pm (PST, Vancouver).

This certificate program encompasses the management knowledge and skill set necessary to manage employees through the entire employee experience. Completion of 4 core courses and 18 hours of elective courses entitles the participant to a Certificate in The Art of HR.
